"Hello. This balm stick is unbelievably thick and doesn't absorb. I have a herniated disc and apply it close to my tailbone area and glute. It never soaks on completely, and remains on top of skin until showering. I'd like it to absorb like an oil. 4 stars as it seems to work well, I just don't prefer how it feels on the skin. I've used it on my legs and ankles and it stays like the tailbone area."

"I like the balm's ease of use and effectiveness, but it stained my white t-shirts and bras--I use it when my costochondritis flairs, it keeps the severe pain under control for hours. The stains do not wash out, even soaking the shirts in Tide. Also, the balm is difficult to wash off, even with scrubbing. No one who has costochondritis wants to scrub their flairing sternum muscles, anyway. I like the balm much better than the cream, which is always ice-cold on the skin? Difficult to apply to the costochondritis flair, especially. I also use the balm on my knees occasionally, works great. Please, fix the staining--maybe change the base (wax?) used to carry the CBD--and the difficulty with washing it off? It's a great product, but the "carrier" formulation needs a bit of tweaking. Thank you!"

"I have been using 500mg lotion with menthol and arnica. I went to this and immediately love the smell and ease of use, however, I do not notice any calming or relief of pain/soreness/stiffness. The smell is great and I guess I would say that is relaxing in and of itself. And, because it’s a stick it keep the smell etc of my hands which is great. Just not sure of the benefits it brings for the physical joint and muscle relief. Maybe a menthol version would do better as it could be the heating property of that is what I personally am missing. This is a how grade product in comparison to many I have used over the years just missing that final star in my case."
"I've been using the Relief & Recovery cream for several years and wanted to try the stick, simply becaud it would be less messy. It seems okay but not as effective as the cream, possibly because it soes not include methyl sulfony methane in the formulation, which should promote better absorption."
